Legal notice
Sides & Space writes guides for performers and the collectives they form. This notice sets out the limits of that role and the legal details behind it.
What the site will never do
- Run auditions, cast roles or represent performers.
- Rent rehearsal rooms, sell memberships or take bookings.
- Accept payment to recommend a coach, venue, residency or programme.
- Give individual legal, tax or union advice: for a contract, ask your union, an accountant or a lawyer.
Where our facts come from
Rules taken from union agreements, labour law, tax guidance or cooperative principles are linked to the body that issues them, and each guide flags when a rule differs by country, city or contract. We do not print figures we cannot source or reviews of venues we have not checked.
